Product Rating:
- All products listed on the Soum platform are evaluated according to a specific methodology to determine the product category (heavily used, moderately used, lightly used).
- Product rating is one of the tools used to assist the user and complete the purchase process, and it is not a product warranty.
Payment:
- The buyer can purchase the listed product directly and pay the required amount to initiate the purchase and delivery process.
- The buyer can bid on the product, and upon the seller's acceptance of the price, the buyer must pay the specified amount within 3 hours, or the bid will be cancelled.
- The amount allocated for the product is held by the Soum platform until the sale is completed and the buyer confirms that the product matches the specified specifications.
- If the purchase is confirmed and there are no remarks from the buyer, the amount will be transferred to the seller's account.
- If the purchase is not confirmed by the buyer, the amount will be automatically transferred to the seller 24 hours after the buyer receives the product.
- The listed price of the product includes delivery costs, VAT, and the platform commission.
Delivery:
- Soum covers delivery costs in full.
- Upon initiating the sale, the delivery document will be shared with the seller, and the seller must print it and provide it to the delivery company when they pick up the product.
- The buyer can track delivery updates through the order page.
Return Policy:
- If the buyer claims there is a discrepancy between the received product and the listed product, Soum will verify the claim. Upon confirming the discrepancy, the product will be returned to the seller and Soum will cover the delivery costs.
- The buyer cannot request a refund after the sale process has started and the received product matches the specifications.
- If the sale process has started and the product has been delivered to the buyer, the seller cannot request the return of the product.
Information Privacy Policy:
- Registering on Soum constitutes consent to share the required information to enable the user to buy and sell.
- The information required by the platform includes username, password, mobile number, and email address.
- Banking information and residential address are requested when initiating a purchase or sale.
General Policies:
- Registering on Soum constitutes agreement that the user is legally eligible to complete buying and selling transactions.
- Listing a product by the seller is a declaration of ownership and the right to sell it.
- Communication between the buyer and seller is conducted exclusively through the Soum platform. Neither the buyer nor the seller may request the other party's contact information.
- If the buyer has inquiries about the product, they can make inquiries through the platform.
- The seller is responsible for ensuring the availability of the product during the listing period and following the procedures to complete the sale.
- The seller must remove the listed product if it is no longer available.
- The seller must provide product-related support within 24 hours of the buyer receiving the product.
- The seller must factory reset products before initiating the sale. Soum is not responsible for ensuring that information and data stored on sold products do not reach the buyer.
- Both the buyer and seller must notify Soum if they suspect any manipulation by the other party.
Rewards Program Terms and Conditions:
- An amount of 100 SAR is transferred for each valid transaction.
- The reward is transferred to the bank account preferred by the customer.
- The customer is entitled to receive more than one reward with no upper limit.
- The offer does not apply if the buyer (code user) was previously aware of the platform.
- The customer is not entitled to claim the reward if the transaction fails.
- The customer is not allowed to use the code for themselves by registering with another number owned by them or by a family member or friend.
- Soum reserves the right not to transfer the reward if manipulation is suspected, and Soum is not required to provide conclusive evidence.
